This painting was created as a project done in a group setting to demonstrate the natural creativity that could arise after meditating. We were asked to plant the seed of intention to spontaneously create a piece of art related to our future after a short meditation. This painting came out quite effortlessly. I put it away and didn’t think about it for quite a while. Several months later, I and several others were putting together a “Festival of Awakening.” We had been searching for an image to use on marketing materials. After a lot of looking and no success, I remembered this painting and got it out, wondering if it would work. Everybody loved it. We ended up using it on our poster and were delighted with the results, so it did, in fact, it did represent my future -- becoming the symbol for a big event…not incidentally about awakening.
