This was a lighthearted, whimsical piece done on retreat. Everyone was asked to bring materials to create a piece of art. I brought watercolors and watercolor paper. After painting the background, I borrowed some yarn from a knitter’s stash of materials and a jeweled button from the supplies of a seamstress et voila! Simple but in the exploratory, playful spirit of the occasion.
